WWE broadcast team member Tom Phillips is apparently starting to feel the repercussions of a scandal he was involved in that went public last week.
Phillips, who was the subject of a scandal involving himself and the sharing of "vulgar messages" to a woman on social media, was referenced but was not present leading the usual "Social Media Lounge" segments on the WWE Fastlane "Kickoff Show" on the WWE Network on Sunday night that fans have come accustomed to seeing him in.
Filling in for Phillips at tonight's PPV was Charly Caruso. During one of the segments, WWE Kickoff Show expert panelist Booker T referenced Phillips' absence, asking Caruso where the "dirty bird" was. Charly noted that Phillips graciously handed over the reigns of the gig to her before the subject was quickly dropped and the broadcast team moved on.
