As reported, WWE has announced the release of Orlando Jordan.
There had been some within the company expecting this after Jordan was suddenly pulled out of a pre-show meeting at Tuesday's SmackDown taping. He was scheduled to wrestle Tatanka, but he was sent from the building by WWE just before cameras began rolling.
According to PWInsider.com's Mike Johnson, Jordan had extremely upset WWE officials, including Vince McMahon, for having an unauthorized person on the road with him and backstage at events.
