- When Jim Ross' wife, Jan, passed away a few weeks ago, no members of the McMahon family publicly said anything on social media. Apparently the reason for this is because they all wanted to "lay low" so that Ross would get a big pop when he was introduced as a special commentator for the Undertaker vs. Roman Reigns match at WrestleMania.
- While he knew he would be returning to WWE for several weeks, Ross only found out that he would be commentating the Undertaker/Reigns match a few days before the show.
- Ross was able to keep all of his WrestleMania committments, in light of the recent personal tragedies he suffered. He even did a Q&A session at WaleMania despite the fact that his cat was found dead that morning. The cat, Mickey, was only four years old and was clearly depressed because he'd been searching for Jan Ross for more than a week and is said to have died from a broken heart. :(
