-- According to an article on CBS Sports, Mauro Ranallo is not expected back on WWE TV for the remainder of his contract, which expires on August 12, 2017. This would likely explain Ranallo deleting numerous tweets referencing WWE and also why he has unfollowed pretty much everyone in WWE as well.
-- The Ranallo/JBL/bullying situation spread to a Twitter war of sorts between ESPN reporter and former WWE commentator Jonathan Coachman and wrestling insider and journalist Dave Meltzer. Meltzer basically called out ESPN not covering the story and Coachman responded that ESPN doesn't report on "rumors" to which Meltzer responded that it isn't a rumor if an announcer is missing for a month. Soon thereafter, Coachman suddenly announced he was not going to be covering the WWE for ESPN any longer as he had other big projects to handle (he has since deleted the tweet).
ESPN gets chance after chance to show balls but this will be another time they're showing castration tendencies. https://t.co/nk9SREhSqi

2 things: we don't report on rumors for any sport or company. And you getting "heat" for anything is laughable. https://t.co/9s4VK0fqLd

Good one. Ever watch your own morning shows? An announcer missing for a month is a rumor? https://t.co/V4E7F5ubKG

Coachman claims he's done covering WWE. Exactly how a media figure should react when a legit story involving a fellow announcer breaks.
