Welcome aboard Velociters. Before we start I gotta say how much I enjoyed Kurt Angle's last match on SmackDown! That man is a legend. This is the penultimate episode of Velocity so without further ado let's send it in to our first match which is a rematch of sorts from not too long ago.

Simon Dean vs Gunner Scott
No Dean machine or Simon promo this week. Piped in cheers again for Gunner who tries to get the crowd going. Gunner begins with a couple of quick takedown cover attempts. Simon knees the gut, clubs the back, Gunner reverses off the ropes, Gunner lands a hiptoss followed by a backelbow. Gunner charges, Simon dodges a cross body resulting in Gunner crashing into the ropes. Simon immediately covers for a nearfall before working over Gunner's abdomen with stomps. Simon with an elbow to the head and a knee. A Simon sucks chant starts. Simon drives an elbow and punch into Gunner's head. Gunner punches back at the gut before going for a backslide, Simon turns hooks the rope with his boot and backs Gunner front first into the corner. Simon hits a diving spear of sorts in the corner before taunting the crowd. Simon stands on Gunner's abdomen (but does a poor job of it). Gunner punches the gut, Simon throws Gunner down by the hair. Simon lands a two footed stomp on Gunner's chest for a nearfall. Simon punches the back then hooks an abdominal stretch. Gunner escapes via a back suplex. Simon gets up first but walks into an inverted atomic drop. Gunner with forearms an Irish whip and dropkick fires up before punching then stomping a mudhole in Simon in the corner. Gunner tosses Simon to the mat. Gunner hits a german suplex 1-2-no. Gunner gets Simon up, Simon drives Gunner into the corner. Simon charges into a boot. Simon ducks a running clothesline but then gets caught by Gunner's belly-to-belly-release suplex for the 1-2-3. Not as good as their previous bout. Here is Your Winner: GUNNER SCOTT.

Gregory Helms vs Wavell Starr
Non title match. Starr used to look like Frankie Kazarian/Steven Seagal but he has now had his hair shaved into a mohawk. Small Hurricane chant to start. Helms starts with a hammerlock into an armbar takedown. Starr gets back up, Helms goes back to the hammerlock which Starr reverses but Helms counters with a drop toehold and maneuvers into a front facelock. Starr gets up takes Helms to the corner offers a clean break but Helms shoves. Starr shoves back, Helms charges into an armdrag then hiptoss. Helms reverses off the ropes before tossing Starr over the top rope. Helms goes out and beats on Starr against the guardrail with punches. Helms places Starr on the apron and lands a kick to the face. Helms gets in, cover gets a nearfall. Helms delivers a suplex then a cross body from the top rope for another nearfall. Helms slaps Starr's head before trapping him in a double underhook while driving knees into his head. Helms drops a leg across the back of Starr's neck then turns him over into a cover for a nearfall. Helms applies a keylock submission, Starr punches free, Helms knees the gut sends Starr off the ropes, Starr lands a shoulder tackle. Starr staggers Helms with some right hands into the corner. Starr with an Irish whip charges into a Helms uppercut. Helms nails a dropkick from the second rope before finishing Starr off with the Nightmare on Helms Street (formerly the Eye of the Hurricane) for the 1-2-3. A good showcase for Helms. Here is Your Winner: GREGORY HELMS.

Tatanka vs John Williams
Tatanka poses for a while in the corners before threatening Williams with his tomahawk. Williams has a polynesian tattoo on his shoulder similar to that of the Rock. The commentators make note of the tattoo but not of the resemblance to the Rock. They keep putting over Tatanka's old two year unbeaten streak during the match but don't mention he's still undefeated since his return at the start of 2006 (I can't recall a loss since he returned). As Tatanka lays his headdress down in the corner Williams attacks from behind with a double axehandle and some punches. Tatanka reverses off the ropes catching Williams with an armdrag/armbar combo. Tatanka drops a leg onto the arm before getting Williams up and winding his arm up in an armwringer. Tatanka cranks the arm keeping Williams away from the ropes. Williams punches free, runs the ropes, Tatanka ducks a clothesline before chopping Williams down a couple of times. Tatanka scores with a hiptoss, running clothesline before driving Williams' head into the turnbuckle. Tatanka with some more chops that send Williams to another corner. Tatanka with a hard Irish whip to Williams who falls down. Tatanka with a suplex goes back to the armwringer, Williams takes to the corner by pushing at Tatanka's face before poking the eyes. Williams with some punches, Tatanka reverses an Irish whip but Williams sidesteps a charge resulting in Tatanka hitting the corner front first. Williams quickly clotheslines Tatanka down from behind. Williams stomps, punches Tatanka before dropping a knee and covering for a one count. Williams applies a head vice, Tatanka elbows free but charges into a clothesline. Williams foolishly plays to the crowd for far too long which results in him missing an elbowdrop off the ropes. Tatanka recovers chopping Williams down before nailing a backbodydrop off the ropes. Tatanka fires up, chops and slams Williams then stalks before taking him down with a running charge. Tatanka signals for the end, Williams staggers back up, Tatanka scoops him up delivering a swinging side slam for the victory. 1-2-3. Here is Your Winner: TATANKA. Tatanka loves to use those chops. Williams got quite a bit of offense in. I didn't enjoy this but I'm not into Tatanka. I thought this went a bit long for a squash.

Mexicools vs Paul London & Brian Kendrick
Non title main event. Mexicools out first followed by the champs. WWE make a mistake during London & Kendrick's entrance as the graphic shows them as the Cruiserweight Champions instead of the Tag Team Champions. The commentators rave about this one being high flying but I wouldn't bank on it as it's not WWE style is it? Code of Honor to begin by all four men. Kendrick begins by locking up with Crazy. The crowd start chanting for the latter as Kendrick applies a hammerlock. Crazy counters with a single leg takedown. Crazy rolls Kendrick back and applies an armwringer into a wristlock. Kendrick rolls through into a reversal, Crazy rolls through into a hammerlock reversal keeping the hold applied despite another Kendrick roll through. Kendrick grabs the neck of Crazy lifting/rolling himself back, Crazy counters a clothesline by hooking a full nelson, Kendrick drops down hooking a small package for a nearfall then Crazy does the same for the same result. Lockup Kendrick grabs a side headlock, Crazy sends off the ropes, Kendrick hits a shoulder tackle. Kendrick with a step over, Crazy with a leapfrog, Kendrick with a lionsault from the second rope lands on his feet before armdragging a charging Crazy. Kendrick goes for a monkey flip but Crazy cartwheels away. Kendrick goes for a headscissors takedown but Crazy turns it into a sunset flip for a nearfall. Crazy nips up, cue a standoff. Kendrick and Crazy shake hands then tag out to their respective partners with Psicosis rolling in over the top rope. Psicosis shakes hands with Kendrick before applying a waistlock to London who counters out by grabbing an arm into a wristlock. Psicosis rolls through, reverses into an armwringer then lifts London onto his shoulder as Josh notes both London and Kendrick were trained by Shawn Michaels and have very similar styles. London gets down Psicosis grabs a side headlock, London sends off the ropes and London stands tall despite two Psicosis shoulder tackle attempts. Both men smile then slap hands but London catches a lunging Psicosis with an armwringer and tags in Kendrick. London sends Psicosis off the ropes into a drop toehold and Kendrick brings an elbow down across Psicosis' back for a nearfall. Psicosis cuts off a rope whip but Kendrick catches him in a headscissors takedown into a rollup. Kendrick has the leg hooked 1-2-no. Psicosis reverses Kendrick off the ropes, Psicosis catches a Kendrick cross body falls to the mat but gets back up and nails a swinging faceplant to Kendrick 1-2-broken up by a London boot. Crazy comes in tossing London through the ropes. Crazy goes for a pescado but London yanks him out by the leg. Back inside Psicosis misses a dive in the corner at Kendrick who boots the gut and sets up for Sliced Bread #2. On the outside Crazy reverses London into the ringpost. Back inside Psicosis counters Kendrick by catching and dropping his throat down against the top rope. Psicosis rolls up Kendrick and grabs the rope. Wait a minute 1-2-3. It's over just like that. The Mexicools steal one literally and should now be the No 1 contenders. Here Are Your Winners: THE MEXICOOLS. Post match Crazy looks on in shock as he didn't want the win this way but finally shrugs it off and opts to celebrate while Kendrick debates with the referee. Psicosis ducks outside first smiling while Crazy reasons with Kendrick a little before heading out himself. The Mexicools smile as they back up the ramp with the champs looking on. Not sure if there was a slight heel turn tease there. This match succeeded in leaving me wanting more between this foursome. A feud would be great. After a lot of feeling/cancelling one another out and showing of respect the match just ended. I'm predicting a title match on SmackDown! but have a feeling it will be tainted by either a new Pitbulls/Gymini runin with them then going on to feud for the belts while the Mexicools get left in the cold after being used as filler. I really hope I'm wrong as the Mexicools are a lot better than the new Pitbulls/Gymini who are both the pits and Mexicools vs London & Kendrick is by far the best way to go. Come on WWE give these two teams another longer match for the belts. They won't disappoint.
