The early pay-per-view estimates show that Backlash drew around 210,000 buys. Last year’s show drew around 260,000 buys initially, but finished around 310,000. Management is said to be disappointed with number, while others place the blame squarely on the Shawn Michaels & “God” vs. Vince & Shane McMahon match.
