The segment where Joey Styles knocked Jim Ross’ cowboy hat off of his head during last night’s WWE vs. ECW show was not planned. Styles made the decision to do it on the spur of the moment, creating more effective television.
ECW.com is no longer calling their workers “Superstars” but now list them as “Wrestlers.” While some may think this isn’t a big deal, WWE has always referred to their talent as “Superstars” so this further proves McMahon commitment to maintain ECW’s distinct brand identity.
The ECW house show on June 25th originally scheduled for the Court Times Sports Center in Elizabeth, Pennsylvania has been moved to the Rostraver Ice Garden in Belle Vernon, Pennsylvania.
For those that have asked, WWE has still not gotten a clearance for ECW TV in Canada. They want one badly and are still in the process of trying to obtain a television clearance for ECW.
