Tonight, ECW will debut on the Sci-Fi Network at 10 pm Eastern. RAW superstars John Cena and Edge have promised an appearance and Rob Van Dam will rechristen the WWE Heavyweight Title to the new ECW title. However, WWE is banking solely on the title controversy to bring ratings, as they have not announced any matches. The show will air live from Trenton, New Jersey.
WWE has trademarked “A New Breed Unleashed” to be used in conjunction with the new ECW brand.
Several media outlets have made mention of ECW debuting tonight on Sci Fi.
