Official WWE Smackdown Preview (6/16/06): Week Of Hell

SmackDown’s new King could be in trouble when Friday Night SmackDown heads to Trenton, N.J.

Bobby Lashley defeated William Regal last week, earning him the right to take on King Booker this week in Trenton. The United States Champion certainly has not forgotten the events two weeks ago, when the King had Regal and Finlay help him force Lashley to kiss his feet. Lashley is obviously looking for a measure of payback; will he get it by defeating the man who beat him in the King of the Ring tournament finals at Judgment Day?

Rey Mysterio, however, may already be in a world of trouble himself. After a hellish week that saw him lose to Kurt Angle, Rob Van Dam and Finlay, Rey defended the World Championship against Sabu at ECW One Night Stand. After a DDT through a table, both men were left in a heap on the arena floor as the match was declared a No Contest. Rey was immediately helped to the locker room after the match, presumably taken to a local medical facility. What condition will the World Champion be in come Friday night?

Plus, Mark Henry continued his path of destruction last week, issuing a warning to the soon-to-be returning Batista. Will the World’s Strongest Man claim another victim?

Find out all this and more Friday night at 8/7 CT on UPN.
