Wrestling promoter Rob Feinstein was backstage at the June 24th ECW show at the ECW Arena, claiming to be an invited guest of Tommy Dreamer. Feinstein was thrown out of the building by security, regardless of his explanation.
Word making rounds through the WWE locker room is that Sci-Fi officials thought highly of last night’s broadcast, especially the main event. Many were said to have enjoyed the blood and thumbtacks used in the Flair/Big Show match, claiming it gave the show a much needed “old school” ECW feel.
Apparently WWE will be discontinuing the ECW F’N shirt. Despite the shirt being the best selling ECW shirt of all time, Vince McMahon feels that the show will be looked negatively upon by potential advertisers.
The reason that Paul Heyman did not wear his trademark hat to the ring last night was because the hat is part of his babyface persona, while last night Heyman was working as the “in charge” heel.
