WWE Adds Fifth Co-Branded PPV; Tentative Schedule & Location for 2018

-- As we have noted before, WWE is dropping the number of PPVs in 2018 down to 14 events. Instead of having one Raw and one Smackdown PPV pretty much every month there isn't a big PPV, the company is scaling it back to 5 Raw shows, 4 Smackdown shows and 5 co-branded shows (both Raw and Smackdown). The tentative schedule is below, with "Money in the Bank" now joining Royal Rumble, WrestleMania, SummerSlam and Survivor Series as events where superstars from both brands will be appearing. Also of note is that the Great Balls of PPV name is gone.

  • Fast Lane - March 11, 2018 - Columbus, OH (Smackdown)
  • WrestleMania 34 - April 8, 2018 - New Orleans, LA
  • Backlash - May 6, 2018 - Newark, NJ (Raw)
  • Payback - May 27 - Baltimore, MD (Smackdown)
  • Money in the Bank - June 17, 2018 - Chicago, IL
  • Battleground - July 15, 2018 - Pittsburgh, PA (Raw)
  • SummerSlam - August 19, 2018 - Brooklyn, NY
  • Extreme Rules - September 16, 2018 - San Antonio, TX (Raw)
  • Hell in a Cell - September 30, 2018 - Nashville, TN (Smackdown)
  • TLC - October 21, 2018 - Boston, MA (Raw)
  • Survivor Series - November 18, 2018 - Los Angeles, CA
  • Clash of Champions - December 16, 2018 - San Jose, CA (Smackdown)
