-- Drew McIntyre took to Twitter this morning to confirm the biceps injury he suffered during a couple of weeks ago at NXT TakeOver: WarGames in Houston.
Unfortunately I did suffer an injury during my title defense at TakeOver. I’ve dealt with setbacks before. The reality is, I always come back better...There's a scary thought for whomever is NXT champion come 2018... #TickTock

-- According to sources, McIntyre has begun rehabbing his injury but is expected to be sidelined a few months. The hope is that he will be able to return in time for WrestleMania 34 in April.
-- Also of note is that before suffering the injury, McIntyre was reportedly being earmarked for a call up to the main roster. However, those plans are obviously not going to happen now until most likely the second half of the year.
