Extensive Update on Hulk Hogan’s Injury; Very Doubtful For SummerSlam

The Hulk Hogan injury saga continues as WWE.com has posted a story where Randy Orton states that Hogan is faking an injury because he doesn’t want to face The Legend Killer. There’s also video of Hogan’s appearance on Live with Regis and Kelly that features him walking and dancing.

Hogan made another public appearance yesterday on CNN’s Showbiz Tonight in which he reiterated the story of how he injured his knee (he got up awkwardly from their new couch). Hogan was asked if he would be able to work SummerSlam on the show and he said: "We're going to wait a few more days, see where I'm at. But, you know, it's - the odds are stacked against me. You know, when you're 50 years old with a knee replacement, hip replacement, now another torn ligament, you shouldn't be wrestling."

As you can continue to speculate, this could be a case where Hogan does not want to lose to Orton, although nothing can be confirmed. At this point I’d say Hogan going through with the main event match at SummerSlam is a long shot.
