More Details on Brock Lesnar's Deal with WWE; Plans for Roman Reigns

-- According to Dave Meltzer on the latest Wrestling Observer Radio, it appears WWE isn't abandoning their plans of pushing Roman Reigns as a babyface and ultimately winning the Universal title. While the outcome yesterday was a surprise, it's likely that WWE feels that this loss not only doesn't hurt Reigns, but will make his victory mean that much more when he finally does capture the title.

-- Meltzer pointed to the fact that after the match was over and a recap was shown, the cameras still cut to Reigns in the ring, recovering and staggering to get up which seemed to be WWE's attempt to gain sympathy for him.

-- WWE announced earlier today that Brock Lesnar had "re-signed" with them and will be defending his Universal title at the "Greatest Royal Rumble" event in Saudi Arabia. According to sources, Lesnar's deal is "very short-term in nature" and it's possible it could only be for this one match with the likely scenario that Roman Reigns will beat him for it in Saudi Arabia, where the audience will be far more supportive of him.
