-- WWE will no doubt be exploring more matches involving Asuka and Charlotte, but according to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, it is not expected to happen right away likely because both are babyfaces. Meltzer added that the plan for a while will be for the three top faces on Smackdown to be Asuka, Charlotte and Becky Lynch and they will be opposed by Peyton Royce, Billy Kay and Carmella.
-- Another wrestler in line for a push on Smackdown is new US champion Jeff Hardy, who now has a clearer path to a top babyface role. Hardy has been someone WWE officials have long viewed more as a singles star rather than a tag team competitor so it was only a matter time before he was pushed. The DWI charge appears to be a complete non-issue for the company and there's a chance that Hardy will be a top three face on Smackdown, behind only AJ Styles and Daniel Bryan.
