By now everyone has read or heard Shawn Michaels' recent comments about a potential in-ring return at his age.
While working the NXT events at the Download Festival in Derby, England recently, NXT World Champion Aleister Black spoke with Iain Chambers about the topic, expressing his thoughts about Michaels possibly returning to the squared circle.
"I read that, I was very intrigued," Black said. "I think as a wrestler, a performer, that 'bug' never dies. I truly hope that he will come back for one more. In the back of my head I have a few things that I would like to see, obviously, I've connected myself to those things as well. We're gonna find out, if he does, it's going to be fantastic."
Black was then asked if Michaels gets in the ring at the WWE Performance Center and if he could still work a match.
From there, Black was asked if HBK, who is also one of the trainers at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida, where the NXT crew works out at, ever gets in the ring and if he still has what it takes to work a match.
"I know he can still go," Black said without hesitation. "He can go. Don't worry about that."
