WWE is tightening up on copyright infringement online as they are now getting YouTube.com to pull any video with the WWE initials on it whether or not they own the rights to the video. The feeling from YouTube’s perspective is that it is easier to pull everything instead of taking the time to investigate who owns what when it is WWE’s product to begin with. Therefore, any WWE submitted video to YouTube.com will be pulled as soon as their site administration runs across it.
WWE is also cracking down on MySpace.com sites that proclaim to be WWE personalities, shutting sites down most notably linked to WWE Divas. The company is obviously doing this to project the names of their personalities to avoid any potential online deception.
We can confirm that WWE will run a SmackDown brand house show in Uniondale, Long Island at the Nassau Coliseum on November 21st.
