-- There's been a lot of talk backstage of WWE making specific moves in order to open the lines of communication with talent in New Japan as well as those announced for the All In show later this year. Rey Mysterio Jr. is a name that continually pops up but WWE was showing significant interest in him since January before he had even agreed to work with New Japan and All In.
-- The interest in Mysterio stems from the reaction he got at the Royal Rumble as well as the tremendous shape he is in, but Mysterio commands arguably the highest appearance fee on the indies right now while still being able to work a limited schedule. With WWE's TV deals upcoming, the company can afford to pay seven figures for part-time schedules so it will no doubt lead to an interesting next few months.
