WWE Reportedly Still Not Interested in Batista; Rumor Killer on Cass/Carmella Incident

-- It has previously been reported that former WWE superstar Batista is interested in returning to the company for one final run before he retires from in-ring competition. He was originally considered as Ronda Rousey's partner in the mixed tag team match at WrestleMania, but for whatever reason, WWE just went in a different direction and never returned his calls. The pitch at the time was that the mixed tag match would lead to a year long tenure in WWE culminating at next year's WrestleMania 35 in a match against Triple H.

-- Further to this, online reports from multiple sources suggest that WWE still remains fairly uninterested in signing him for a return and it's anyone's guess why.

-- With the recent firing of Big Cass, a ton of reports have surfaced about his backstage attitude basically leading to his release. Another report that we didn't post stated that Cass had a backstage incident with his former girlfriend Carmella, which at one point escalated to a physical altercation that had to be broken up by other talent. This report is reportedly false and his past relationship with Carmella had nothing to do with his departure from WWE.
