WWE Heat Report-17th September 2006

Special In Studio Edition
Heat comes to us this week from WWE Studios in recap mode due to ECW being taped before Raw this past Monday. An extra match was taped which had Eugene & Hacksaw Jim Duggan go over Charlie Haas & Viscera but we don't get to see that match. Instead the theme of this week's show is DX vs The McMahons. I'd have preferred a TLC theme which would help hype up the real main event of Unforgiven but we have been given a rehash of this stale, crap and boring feud which I hope ends tonight. The McMahons need to get off TV and appoint a General Manager for Raw. Remember the General Manager search? Seems a long time ago doesn't it? That's how long this latest McMahon feud has been going. Here's a very quick rundown of what was aired on this week's telecast in between DX vignettes.
12 June 2006-DX finally reform following a Triple H gauntlet match vs Spirit Squad.
19 June 2006-DX parody the McMahons. I got two words for ya........STAND BACK.
15 July 2006-Spirit Squad vs DX in an Elimination match from Saturday Night's Main Event.
DX vandalise Mr McMahon's property including his private Jet, WWE HQ and a limo.
SmackDown! Big Show and the McMahons take out DX before Hell in a Cell is announced.
ECW two weeks ago. DX vs Big Show in a handicap match followed by a package hyping Hell in a Cell at Unforgiven.
Mr McMahon vs Triple H from this past Monday.
Grisham rounds out the show by running through the Unforgiven card match-by-match.
Unforgiven picks and predictions: JOHN CENA, DX, JOHNNY NITRO, CARLITO, TRISH STRATUS, UMAGA, HIGHLANDERS.
John Cena will regain the strap to coincide with the release of the Marine. DX have to win to end this stale never ending feud and hopefully get the McMahons off of TV. Johnny Nitro will eek out a win against Jeff Hardy thanks to Melina. Carlito edges Randy Orton and hopefully gets elevated. I hear Randy Orton's Wellness problems have come back to light. In my view Orton should be thankful he still has a job. Trish Stratus should win to end her career the only way...... the right way with that being on a classy note. I'd like to personally say thank you Trish for the six and a half years service/entertainment you've provided. I wish you well for the next chapters in your life. Umaga will win the battle of the monsters as Kane is beginning to wind his career down and Umaga can then move onto other people in preparation for him feuding with John Cena. The Highlanders will finally relieve the Spirit Squad of the tag belts but I hope the Squad stay together as they are a good act. I'd love to see Roddy Piper come out to assist The Highlanders in conquering the Squad's numbers game advantage. Maybe Super Crazy will also receive another outing against the floundering Masterpiece. In my view Unforgiven looks a really great card which I'm really looking forward to. It should be right up there with PPV of the year. All the matches have had good solid build to them so hopefully WWE will knock one right out of the ball park for us later tonight.
Wherever you are enjoy Unforgiven later tonight. As Raw is part of a Supershow tomorrow night then I'm afraid next week I'll be back with another special edition themed Heat. Until then take care and I'll catch you later. Shaun.
