Too Cold Scorpio may be getting a few more tryout matches with WWE as he impressed officials with his match with Rene Dupree before a Smackdown taping a few weeks ago. However, there are some concerns regarding his weight (he's gained a few pounds) and potential drug issues due to his reputation.
Joey Mercury is currently in a rehab center in Atlanta. He's been there since June. Mercury is said to be doing well and he should be out soon. It was previously reported that he got out of the rehab center to rehab at home, but that was untrue. Also, Chris Masters was sent to that same rehab center at the same time, and his problems were said to have been really severe.
The belief is that Kurt Angle will continue to be paid by WWE until February, so that's when his non-compete clause should be ending. Also, it is unknown if the non-compete clause prevents him from working MMA events.
