-- According to one source within WWE, there is a reasonably good chance that James Ellsworth will re-appear on WWE TV in the future. While it is doubtful that the company would ever sign him to a long-term contract, Ellsworth "has a unique role" in WWE and would be "valuable" at the right time and place. It was also mentioned that WWE decided to bring him back for his second stint simply as a way to prolong the Carmella/Asuka storyline in a compelling manner.
-- It was previously noted that Randy Orton was firmly behind his recent heel turn as he prefers to perform in that role and that is actually a role that the company prefers for him as well. In the past though, the audience had gradually began cheering him forcing writers to turn him face so this time creative had Orton attack Jeff Hardy, who is one of the company's strongest babyfaces, as a way to generate heel heat.
-- The storyline involving Rusev and Andrade "Cien" Almas could very well continue for a while, not only because both wrestlers are without programs but also because many people backstage feel as if Zelina Vega is highly under-utilized and having a natural opponent in Lana would allow her strengths to be used more effectively. There is also the ongoing Rusev/Aiden English back story that appears to be culminating with a feud between the two.
