RAW Family Reunion, Godwinn Update, Orton's Suspension

RAW's "season premiere" will be held two weeks from now on Monday, Oct. 9, on the USA Network. The special will be three hours long and is being called "RAW Family Reunion." The show will feature talent from all three WWE brands. The following Superstars are scheduled to appear on the show according to WWE.com: Big Show, Randy Orton, Umaga, Rob Van Dam, King Booker with Sharmell, Finlay, William Regal, Chavo Guerrero, Bobby Lashley, Rey Mysterio, Undertaker, Batista, Mr. Kennedy, Edge, John Cena, Triple H, Shawn Michaels, Ric Flair, and Kane. At the moment, it is unclear as to whether or not those are the only stars appearing on the show.

As reported earlier, Henry O. Godwinn was hired as a favor to Triple H. The explanation given for his hiring was that Triple H wanted him to land a job because life had been tough on him in recent years. Also, The Undertaker likes him. However, there was one string attached to the hiring of Henry O. Godwinn. As it turns out, Triple H made sure that Godwinn was on the Smackdown roster instead of RAW "to keep his show-killing performances away from Triple H. He was so bad (during his tryout matches, its undescribable."

It appears as though that Randy Orton's 30 day suspension is now over as he wrestled on the WWE's tour of Mexico last week. The rules now state that individuals who violate the WWE's drug policy must have one month's worth of pay docked and be kept off of non-televised events for 30 days. Considering that he wrestled on some non-televised events, it looks like his suspension is over and he's free to appear on house shows again.
