Incase you are wondering how WWE was able to get South Carolina football coach Steve Spurrier to sit ringside at RAW, it turns out that he is actually a big fan of WWE. WWE.com has a story now online talking about Spurrier being a fan with him saying, “I watch RAW every Monday on TV, but this is my first live show. All these guys are incredible athletes, but I came to see the Nature Boy.” It should be noted that Spurrier’s appearance on RAW was highlighted this morning on ESPN2’s Cold Pizza talk show. To elaborate on all of the media appearances by John Cena to promote the upcoming release of his movie “The Marine,” Cena will be on BET tonight as well as The Daily Show with Jon Stewart which airs at 11 pm Eastern. Cena will also appear on tonight’s Late Night with Conan O’Brien at 12:35 am Eastern on NBC.
SmackDown’s ratings have been down since the move to the new CW Network, although remain amongst the top of the rest of the network. The new joint venture network has been a disappointment so far.
