WWE’s new DVD distribution deal with Weinstein’s Genius Entertainment has gotten a lot of press today, most notably a story by the New York Post. However, mainstream publicity does not come without flaws as today’s cover of Daily Variety features the announcement on the cover with a continuation inside. The problem with it is that a photo of Kurt Angle is featured inside beside a head shot of Vince McMahon. Angle of course just left the company and signed with Total Nonstop Action.
Kevin Federline’s televised appearance on RAW last night has also had several mainstream mentions.
One half of the Gymini Todd Shane has announced that he will be marrying Dafne Alvarez on October 27th in Puerto Rico.
