WWE Survivor Series Tour: Smackdown Live Event

This is Batista's homecoming to the Philippines!
Before the show, Tony Chimel informed the crowd that Teddy Long and Vince McMahon
decided to make a special main event: Batista vs. King Booker for the title.
WWE Tag Team Title Match: Kendrick and London def. KC James and Idol Stevens
Vito def. Mike Mizanin
Notes: Miz has this weird strut when he walked to the ring. It looked something
like Vince's strut.
Lashley def. Regal
Notes: After a hanging suplex, Regal sold a leg injury so well that the crowd
thought it was real. When Lashley split the ropes so that Regal could go out with
the help of the referees, Regal hit a cheap shot on Lashley. He taunted the crowd
by showing that his leg was well and not injured. Great acting.
Cruiserweight Title Match: Gregory Helms def. Jimmy Wang Yang
Notes: The crowd started to cheer "Hurricane" early on. Jimmy was very impressive
with all his moves.
Undertaker def. Mr. Kennedy
Notes: Before the match, Kennedy taunted the crowd by saying that Manny Pacquiao
will lose to his boy Erik Morales (this is a much awaited boxing match in
November). Taker's entrance was amazing even without the smoke. I think I was the
only one cheering for Kennedy while the whole crowd cheered for Taker.
Finlay def. Matt Hardy
Notes: I was waiting for the Celtic Cross but it didn't happen. Little Bastard
came out when the referee was fixing the turnbuckle cover that Finlay removed. For
the finish, Finlay got a chair and tried to hit Hardy but the referee intervened.
While the ref got rid of the chair, Finlay decked Hardy's legs with the
shileighlie (spelling?).
United States Championship Match: Benoit def. Chavo Guerrero
Notes: Lots of "Eddie" chants especially when Chavo hit the Three Amigos and went
on to attempt a frog splash. Benoit won with the Crossface.
World Heavyweight Championship: Batista def. King Booker via DQ
Notes: Booker's entrance was so long. It took a good 5 minutes before the "All
Hail King Booker" stopped. Booker tried to talk to the crowd but got interrupted
by Batista who came out to a HUGE (and I mean HUGE) pop. He went around the
turnbuckles and kept pointing at the Philippine flag tattoo he's got on his left
bicep.
Mid-match, the ref got hit and Booker hit Batista with the title. Regal came out
with another ref but Batista kicked out. Booker proceeded to hit the referee out of
desperation. Regal and Booker beat down Batista. Batista powered out and hit Booker
with the Batista Bomb. Another ref came out but Finlay came in and hit Batista. Dave
won by DQ.
After the match, Finlay, Regal and Booker ganged up on Batista but Kendrick and
London came out to help. They were manhandled by Finlay. The crowd was chanting for
Lashley but surprise suprise: the Undertaker came out and cleared house. When they
were all gone, Finlay teased a match with Batista but eventually went backstage.
Batista posed for the crowd afterwards.
They needed Batista to win but they can't change champions so they had him win by DQ.
Great show. This is the second time that the WWE has been here and I'm saying that
this is way better than the Raw show last February.
