The Associated Press ran a Q&A with Brooke Hogan over the weekend. In it, she discussed how the Hogan Knows Best reality series on VH1 has helped her music career, but the use of her father’s professional wrestling name can be frustrating. She said that the reality series adds extra stress to the family, but they are strong enough to deal with it. The most interesting bit is when Brooke is asked if she gets annoyed when discussing her father in interviews. Here’s what she had to say: "It's funny because when we do like, radio interviews, for example, I'll get on the radio and they'll say they want to talk to you about your album, and then they'll hear my dad in the background, and they'll say (gasp) 'Is that Hulk Hogan? Oh my god, is that your dad?' and then they'll get on the phone and then it will be a 20-minute interview about wrestling and Hulk Hogan. I'm not ashamed of my dad, I'm not mad about that, because that's where I came from, that's the reason why I'm here ... but it can be frustrating."
Ring of Honor stars Jimmy Jacob and Colt Cabana as well as Midwest stars Tyler Black and Josh Abercrombie have been added to the Wrestling Society X debut television tapings to take place next week in California from November 11th-16th. The tapings will be filmed at a soundstage in Hollywood where free tickets will be available. Capacity for the tapings is said to be less than 100 people.
