MMA Group PRIDE Meets With WWE In Standford, CT

It's no secret that WWE is feeling the effects of the Ultimate Fighting Championship's incredible success. Shane McMahon's recent appearance at the PRIDE fighting event in Las Vegas had many people wondering if the McMahons were thinking about entering the world of mixed martial arts. Now it appears WWE is reaching out to UFC's biggest competitor in an effort to discuss some sort of working agreement.

At WWE.com, one of their top stories featured the PRIDE logo with the headline "PRIDE MEETS WWE: WWE officials meet with representatives from the Japanese mixed martial arts organization PRIDE."

"WWE.com has learned that WWE officials and members of the group PRIDE have a meeting scheduled later this morning at WWE global headquarters in Stamford, Conn. The meeting will focus on the possibility of two groups doing some form of business together in the future.
