This week's topic "Classic Survivor Series Matches"

Welcome aboard people. I'm still on a high after attending an excellent week of WWE tapings in Manchester with the Wolfpack of Chester. Man do WWE know how to put on one hell of a show. TNA may be better for actual wrestling but WWE is still the all around leader in sports entertainment. I managed to get on the front row for part of SmackDown! which was cool while my mates got to touch DX. Anyways enough rambling from me as it's time for this week's edition of Heat which thank goodness isn't the same version as the one which WWE.Com is offering as they're showing a version titled screwed. That version has Bret Hart vs Shawn Michaels from Survivor Series 1997, Bret Hart vs Goldberg from Starrcade 1999, Hulk Hogan vs The Rock from No Way Out 2003 and Rob Van Dam vs Big Show from July this year. Apologies for the delay this week. Had problems being able to post on the site so it was Rajah to the rescue. Thanks mate. Here's what went down on the Heat telecast:-

Team Hogan vs Team Andre from Survivor Series 1987. We pick it up with Hulk Hogan & Bam Bam Bigelow remaining vs Andre The Giant, One Man Gang & King Kong Bundy. Bam Bam makes a hot tag to Hogan who gets counted out along with Bundy. Bam Bam pins One Man Gang after he misses a top rope splash before Andre pins Bigelow following a double underhook. Not good in terms of wrestling but good for nostalgic viewing.

Raw comes to Earls Court London 23rd April 2007. For details go to WWE.Com.

WWE Rewind: Bret Hart gets screwed at Survivor Series 1997.

Survivor Series 1996. Bret Hart vs Stone Cold Steve Austin. A great match ends with Hart pinning Austin with a rollup kicking off the corner while Austin had a sleeper applied.

SmackDown! comes to Earls Court London 24th April 2007. For details go to WWE.Com.

Survivor Series 1991. Hulk Hogan vs The Undertaker in the Gravest Challenge for the WWF title. Ric Flair provides an assist as Undertaker tombstones Hogan onto a chair for his first title reign which lasted only 5/6 days before he lost it back to Hogan at Tuesday Night in Texas.

A Mr Kennedy/Undertaker package runs to hype up their First Blood match next Sunday.

Survivor Series 1994. The Undertaker vs Yokozuna in a Casket Match. Chuck Norris is the guest enforcer. A UK tour next April is plugged halfway through the match. Despite interference from King Kong Bundy, Jeff Jarrett, IRS and Bam Bam Bigelow the Undertaker prevails and shuts the casket on Yokozuna.

WWE Slam of the Week: Team Rated RKO become new World Tag Team Champions following an Edge spear on Ric Flair last Monday on Raw.

Survivor Series 2005. Team Raw vs Team SmackDown! Randy Orton wins for SmackDown! via an RKO on Shawn Michaels. Will that come into play next Sunday?

Grisham and Coachman run down this year's Survivor Series card except for King Booker vs Batista before Grisham signs off to end the show.

I'll be back next week when low and behold Heat should feature some matches. Hopefully Val Venis, Snitsky, Rob Conway etc will no longer be missing in action. So until next week, take care, and have a good one. Later, Shaun.
