Commentators: Todd Grisham & Jonathan Coachman
Ring Announcer: Lilian Garcia

Welcome aboard people. We can all rejoice as Heat is back in the format we all know and love. Even Todd Grisham is excited at being back doing matches. Coachman asks if this is for one week only but Grisham assures us we're back to normal. I hope so but without further ado let's get to the action. We begin this week with.....

Lance Cade & Trevor Murdoch vs The Highlanders
Cade throws his ring vest at Lilian Garcia. The Highlanders get jumped before the bell. Cade tosses Robbie through the ropes before Rory receives a double backbodydrop off the ropes. Murdoch gets some shots in at Rory, Rory ducks a clothesline off the ropes, Robbie headbutts Murdoch, Rory dropkicks Murdoch then Cade. Robbie connects with a top rope dropkick on Cade as Murdoch manages to move. Rory lands a flapjack on Murdoch for a nearfall. Rory gets reversed off the ropes, Rory ducks a clothesline, Cade knees the back and while the referee is tied up with Robbie Cade lands an inverted atomic drop to Rory while Murdoch lands a running boot to the face. Cade and Murdoch send Rory backfirst into the corner. Cade lands elbows, clubs and boots to Rory before Cade holds him prone for a Murdoch open shot. Murdoch takes over with knees and stomps to the the head before punching Rory into the heel corner. Cade chokes Rory illegally while the referee is tied up with Robbie which allows Murdoch to slug away at Rory's chest at the same time. Murdoch slams Rory before Cade lifts his partner then drops him with a legdrop onto the fallen Scotsman. Cade scores a nearfall then goes to a head vice. Rory fights out with elbows and punches so Cade knees the gut and whips him to the corner. Rory punches his way out of the corner until Cade lands a vicious clothesline. After a Murdoch nearfall and slam Murdoch comes off the second rope with a forearm shot. Murdoch tries this a second time but meets Rory's boot to allow the hot tag. Robbie connects with polish hammers and dropkicks to the heels. Cade reverses Robbie off the ropes who comes back with a spinning backelbow. Murdoch walks into a backbodydrop. Robbie fires up before nailing battering rams to both heels in opposite corners. Robbie goes for another on Cade but meets Cade's elbow. Cade and Murdoch wind up and go for the high low but Rory pulls Murdoch outside and Robbie rolls up Cade off the ropes. 1-2-3. The Highlanders get the monkey off their back with a much needed win. Good opener. Crowd popped for the finish. Here Are Your Winners: THE HIGHLANDERS. Post match the heels look on pissed as the Highlanders celebrate up the ramp.

Shelton Benjamin vs Super Crazy
As Shelton passes his ring garb down he tells the ringside official not to let anyone steal it this week in allusion to Cryme Tyme's antics on Raw a few weeks back. Grisham notes both are high flyers not mat wrestlers while Coachman says they can both go on the mat if needed but prefer not to. That's an insult considering Shelton's amateur background. From the first lockup Shelton shoves Crazy down while shaking his head. Following a takedown Shelton hoists Crazy up on his shoulders for a bit before backbodydropping him down. Shelton swats Crazy's head with his boot. Shelton lands some shots to the face then goes for a powerbomb but Crazy lands punches to the head before countering into a headscissors takedown. Crazy follows up with a spinning heel kick for a nearfall. Shelton reverses off the ropes, Crazy goes for a crucifix pin but Shelton turns it into a backbreaker across his knee. Shelton lands a stomp before punching away on Crazy's head. Shelton sends Crazy's back into the corner twice before placing his boot over Crazy's throat area. Shelton with a snapamare and abdominal stretch on the mat. Shelton punches at the head during the resthold which Crazy eventually hiptosses free from. Crazy fights back with forearms, Shelton reverses off the ropes Crazy ducks under a clothesline attempt leaps on/off the second rope connecting with a dropkick. Crazy lands a second dropkick, Shelton goes to the apron, Crazy lands a springboard dropkick from the second rope which knocks Shelton to the floor. A part of the crowd start booing Crazy for some reason. Crazy undeterred steps outside connecting with another dropkick this time off the third ring step. Back inside Crazy lands a moonsault after springing off the second rope for a nearfall. Crazy mounts Shelton in the corner for a ten punch assault but at six Shelton shoves Crazy off who lands on his feet. Crazy charges but Shelton catches him readying for an exploder suplex but Crazy manages to elbow free then push Shelton into the ropes. Crazy runs the ropes ducks a clothesline then goes for one springboard move too many as Shelton catches him and after three knees to the gut delivers his exploder suplex. Shelton shakes his head looking dissatisfied as he pulls Crazy up and dishes out a second exploder suplex. The crowd start chanting for Super Crazy but it's too late as he's out for the count. Shelton covers. 1-2-3. Some miscommunication in parts but a good showing. Here is Your Winner: SHELTON BENJAMIN.

Charlie Haas vs Fred Sampson
Time to see Shelton Benjamin's former tag team partner in action. Haas comes out without Viscera. Sampson receives the big babyface announcement and pop from the Baltimore Maryland crowd. Sampson has been on Heat before jobbing to Val Venis but Grisham says this is his first appearance. Sampson shocks Haas with a waistlock takedown. Haas gets serious replying with an armdrag. Haas maneuvers around into a side headlock before flooring Sampson with a shoulder tackle off the ropes. Haas stops before a stepover and applies a rolling front facelock to Sampson across the ring. Haas keeps taunting Sampson saying two and this has me and the commentators baffled. Sampson reverses a hammerlock then applies a side headlock to Haas who hooks the hair to send Sampson off the ropes. Both men block hiptoss attempts before Haas lands a fireman carry takedown. Haas shoves Sampson to the corner before turning his back. Sampson sidesteps a boot attempt catching Haas with a schoolboy for a one count. Sampson ducks a punch and decks Haas with one of his own. Sampson taunts a shocked Haas with a that's two sign. While in the corner Haas uses the referee to distract Sampson which enables Haas to go to Sampson's eyes. Haas quickly follows up with a belly-to-belly overthrow suplex. Haas stomps the back before raking his boot across Sampson's face twice. Haas rips at Sampson's face in the ropes. Haas works over Sampson with boots and a punch. With Sampson in a seated position Haas drives two knees into the back. Sampson fights back with punches. Haas gets sent off the ropes but after ducking a clothesline Haas regains control following a gut kick, two knees to the head and a double underhook suplex for a nearfall. Haas doesn't let up using a kick to the back, scoop slam and a kneedrop off the ropes to gain another nearfall. Haas applies a chinlock with his knee wedged into Sampson's back. Sampson escapes with punches and a back suplex. Haas is the first to get up but Sampson manages to counter Haas' punches with some of his own. Sampson follows up with two clotheslines in quick succession. Haas manages to reverse an Irish whip which results in Sampson hitting the corner face first. Sampson staggers back into a Haas release german suplex. Haas measures Sampson before connecting with a big boot to the face off the ropes. Haas applies the Haas of pain and Sampson quickly taps out. A good squash/showcase for Haas with some good spots for Sampson too. Nice to see Haas showcasing his wrestling abilities. Now just get him away from Viscera and back with Shelton or put Haas in the Intercontinental Title hunt. Here is Your Winner via Submission: CHARLIE HAAS.

Rob Conway vs Hacksaw Jim Duggan
Main Event time. Not much of a reaction for Conway who is speculated as being on one of the biggest losing streaks ever which unfortunately is probably true. Hacksaw receives a big pop from all the youngsters in the crowd. Lots of Hooooos and USA chants to begin. Conway refuses to get into the ring until Hacksaw has got rid of his 2x4. I don't blame him as Hacksaw is a damn maniac. Hacksaw gets Conway to listen to another USA chant before locking up. As both men jostle to the ropes, Conway gets the first shots in with a series of forearms. Hacksaw reverses Conway off the ropes and lands three clotheslines to send Conway bailing outside. Hacksaw offers a free shot to entice Conway back in. Conway obliges but Hacksaw counters sending Conway down then back outside after a flurry of his own punches. When Conway returns again Hacksaw greets him with clubs to the back. Conway turns the tide by telegraphing a backbodydrop attempt with a boot to the head which sends Hacksaw into the ropes. Conway takes advantage of this by choking Hacksaw with his hands. Conway works over Hacksaw with punches an elbow and elbowdrop and after fruitless covers Conway goes to a rear naked choke. Just as Hacksaw looks to have his arm dropped for the third time he keeps his thumb up, stirs and escapes via elbows and punches but then runs into a knee to the gut to kill his momentum. After Conway lands mounted mat punches to the head he fires up with a loud hoooo as the crowd boo. Conway lands more shots, Hacksaw tries some battering rams in the corner but Conway rakes the face. Hacksaw manages an Irish whip but Conway sidesteps a charge as Hacksaw hits the corner and crashes down. Conway covers for two consecutive nearfalls then applies a chinlock. Both men exchange elbows before Hacksaw blocks and sends Conway's head into the corner. Hacksaw mounts Conway for a successful ten punch assault. Hacksaw mistakenly plays to the crowd allowing Conway to surprise him with a clothesline. Conway then does the same thing taking way too much time while perched on the second rope to mock Hacksaw's thumbs up which results in Conway missing an elbowdrop. A fired up Hacksaw takes advantage hitting his three point stance clothesline for the 1-2-3. Not a good match. Here is Your Winner: HACKSAW JIM DUGGAN.

Grisham and Coach give some hype to Hacksaw then quickly shill for most of Survivor Series before Grisham signs off and thanks us for watching to end the show.

Worst Match: Rob Conway vs Hacksaw Jim Duggan

Survivor Series picks and predictions

Undertaker vs Mr Kennedy (First Blood)
This will likely be kept short due to Undertaker's rib injury. I'm hoping Undertaker puts Mr Kenendy over and gives him the rub that he needs.

Lita vs Mickie James (Women's Title)
Lita's last match and the end of this awful feud. Mickie James will win and go on to feud with Beth Phoenix/Victoria etc.

Chris Benoit vs Chavo Guerrero (U.S Title)
The first match in what should be a long feud. I'll pick Chavo to win the title and Benoit to chase him for it.

King Booker vs Batista (World Heavyweight Title)
This is Batista's last shot at King Booker and I think he'll get the title in the same city he was forced to give it up in. Looks like I've warmed to the King Booker as champion act a bit too late.

Spirit Squad vs The Legends
Every Squaddie bar Johnny will get eliminated. Johnny will make a comeback to get himself over then Kenny causes him to lose and the Spirit Squad implodes.

Team Cena vs Team Big Show
In what will be a good match Umaga will survive.

Team DX vs Team Rated RKO
Randy Orton is the form man in this having been the sole survivor for the last three years. He remains unbeaten at this event. From a personal point I'd rather see the Hardys survive longer than DX but I think DX will prevail in the end. Have CM Punk get DQed or counted out to preserve his unbeaten streak. I'm hoping Gregory Helms does well too as he has been on a roll lately having great matches left, right and centre with his latest one on SmackDown! this past week vs Jimmy Wang Yang being a good example. I'm really looking forward to this PPV and in particular the elimination matches as it adds a bit of tradition to the event. It was also a good touch announcing matches each day for a week on WWE.Com as it was a suspense builder or at least it was for this fan.

So there you go that's me done and dusted for another week. Been great being back in the saddle again for Heat. Here's hoping it's not back to the special editions next week but I'll be back regardless. Until next week enjoy Survivor Series tonight whoever and wherever you are. Take care. Later, Shaun.
