Rowdy Roddy Piper Special Edition

Welcome aboard. No matches today. Instead we take a look back at some of Hot Rod's finest WWE moments as he currently battles to overcome lymphoma. Here's what went down on the show.

First up is the infamous coconut incident with Superfly Jimmy Snuka on Piper's Pit.

October 1991 from Madison Square Garden. Piper battled Ric Flair. Flair wins it with his feet on the ropes after bringing a steel chair into play. Post match Piper uses the chair to ward off Flair.

Cyber Sunday 2006: Ric Flair and Roddy Piper defeat the Spirit Squad to raise the World Tag Team Titles.

Saturday Night's Main Event-January 1992. Hot Rod defends the Intercontinental Title against the Mountie in a Royal Rumble rematch. Mountie uses his shockstick on Piper who is wearing a shockproof vest. Piper gives the Mountie a taste of his own medicine before pinning him. This was fun to watch.

WrestleMania 21. Piper's Pit with Stone Cold Steve Austin & Carlito.

Hot Rod's Hall of Fame acceptance speech from 2005.

Raw last Monday night. The supposed rubber match between the Highlanders and Lance Cade and Trevor Murdoch. The Highlanders dedicated this match to Piper. Highlanders win a disappointing bout. These two teams had better encounters on Heat. For the record these teams are now tied at 2-2 upon checking the archives.

Finally a few get well wishes are heard from some WWE Superstars (all out of character). Those shown were from the Highlanders, Hacksaw Jim Duggan (who touched on his own successful cancer battle), Ron Simmons, Victoria, Jonathan Coachman, Torrie Wilson & John Cena. A graphic then flashed up which said best wishes "Hot Rod" from the WWE.

Grisham lets us know the address to write to in order to support Piper. The address is:-
