Two ECW Originals In The Doghouse; Why Jazz, Mack & C.W. Were Released

The feeling is that Sabu and The Sandman are endangered species. Sabu isn't too happy doing matches without stunts, not to mention that he hasn't been put on the road much as of late. Sandman is popular and still being pushed, but when his weapons are taken away, he can't really do much of a match.

Sans a television match in June against Mickie James, Jazz was never used on television because WWE television producer Kevin Dunn didn't like her look. Her release was inevitable.

Rodney Mack was brought in back in September at the request of Paul Heyman. He wanted to use him as a tough guy to do a program with CM Punk, where Punk would win in a stepping stone of climbing the ladder. However, after Mack was signed, Heyman's plan was overruled and he never made it on to television. His release was inevitable as well.

Chris Wright (C.W. Anderson) wasn't used much because they didn't like his look. He hadn't been used in months either on the road or on television. Although, he was out with an injury since September, and that was supposed to heal by January. Wright is trying to hook up with Zero-One Max in Japan, where he wrestled before landing a job in WWE. Although, the promotion is booking less foreigners these days.
