Vince McMahon has become very fond of JBL as WWE now flies the SmackDown announcer on Air McMahon after shows and he is one of the most influential people in the company. This is all because Vince McMahon respects the fact that JBL has made a success of himself outside of wrestling.
Dusty Rhodes is now a member of the ECW creative team. The move to transfer Rhodes from SmackDown was at the request of Dave Lagana because he felt with Michael Hayes handling the majority of the work for SmackDown; there wasn’t enough work to utilize Rhodes and his abilities.
