Ticket sales for WWE shows have a been up as of late and thus WWE will be experimenting a new house show scheduling idea. The company is thinking about running a doubleshot on the same day at the same venue for some dates. The company will run Smackdown/ECW house shows at the Westchester County Center in White Plains, NY at 1 PM and 7 PM. They'll be doing it next month as well. There may be other dates where the company attempts to do the same as well in the near future.
It is quite obvious now, but yes, the current plan is to build to an Ashley vs. Melina match for WrestleMania.
