- Following WWE severing their ties with the company, Deep South Wrestling is shutting down. The decision was made by promotion head Jody Hamilton as apparently Deep South Wrestling needed WWE’s backing to be sustainable. It is believed that all of the talent will move to a wrestling school in Florida, although that is not confirmed.
- WWE Board of Directors member and president of Major League Baseball Advanced Media Robert Bowman has joined the Board of Directors of Take Two Interactive Software, Inc. Take Two is the parent company of 2KSports videogames.
- Former WWE superstar Joey Mercury will appear at the 4/29 Squared Circle Signings at the Deep Park Community Center in Deer Park, NY Chris Jericho and Abyss are also scheduled to appear from 1:30-3 :30 p.m.
