- WWE has altered tonight’s main event for ECW on Sci Fi. Originally scheduled to be ECW World Champion Vince McMahon taking on Rob Van Dam, will now be Rob Van Dam taking on Vince McMahon, Shane McMahon, and Umaga in a handicap match.
- Now as WWE’s Executive Vice President of Creative, Stephanie McMahon is officially John Laurenaitis’ boss. While Laurenaitis has always worked under Stephanie, Vince McMahon was his “official” boss.
- Writers Michael Hayes and Brian Gewirtz have also been given V.P. titles as head writers of SmackDown and RAW respectively.
