- Tuesday night’s edition of ECW on Sci Fi featuring ECW World Champion Vince McMahon, his son Shane, and Umaga versus Rob Van Dam did a 1.5 rating with 1.8 million viewers. That number is below the program’s average of 1.8 that it has done since debuting last summer over 46 weeks ago.
- WWE has been plugging Edge capturing the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, despite spoiling SmackDown in order to try and draw bigger numbers for Friday night’s edition of SmackDown. The show has been lagging since WrestleMania and the feeling within WWE is that should pick up now that Edge has been added to the roster. Many are speculating that Edge will immediately begin a program with Batista for his first title defense.
