- If you haven’t seen The Condemned in theaters yet and still want too, you’d better hurry. According to BoxOfficeMojo.com the film was pulled from 1,802 movie theaters today, making it the most of any film showing this weekend. WWE Films’ latest project starring Steve Austin only had 13 days in 2,310 theaters and will only show in 508 theaters this weekend. As of Wednesday, the flick has generated $6,627,355 gross income.
- WWE Heavyweight Champion John Cena and Eugene will take part in a Chaotic Wrestling independent event on May 25th in Byfield, Massachusetts, according to WWE.com. The show is a charity event for the Newbury Policy Association and other charitable organizations and will be a homecoming for Cena. Cena will be the referee for Chaotic Champ Brian Lilonas’ match against Rick Fuller, who will have Cena’s father in his corner. Eugene is scheduled to wrestle at the show against Handsome Johnny. Incase you are wondering, Cena’s father has been very involved in the Massachusetts independent scene for quite some time.
