Jerry “The King” Lawler was found not guilty regarding assault charges filed against him by Sal Corrente. Corrente had alleged that Lawler assaulted him during a Memphis Wrestling Show on June 15th at Sam’s Town Casino. Corrente asked for a continuance, but his request was denied.
As with any court case, Corrente is open to appeal the decision if he chooses. There were several media outlets covering the case in which Corrente offered “no comment” to them. He will speak live today on the Bubba the Love Sponge radio show at 4:45 PM Eastern time.
