RAW Rating Stays Strong For Second Week In A Row

The Neilson television ratings are in for this week's edition of Monday Night RAW and the viewership for WWE's flagship show remain strong. RAW's return to Madison Square Garden drew a 3.8. The first hour drew a 3.7 and the second hour drew a 3.9.

This is good news for WWE. While a 3.8 may not have been reason to celebrate a few months ago, things have been unstable at best for the past 6 weeks. After drawing a 3.4 rating 3 weeks in a row during July (the lowest RAW ratings in over 9 years), the July 30th show drew a disasterous 2.5. Reports then surfaced that the 2.5 was an error on Neilson's part and the number. The actual viewership figures for that week's show were never released.

Now that RAW has drawn 3.8 for the past 2 weeks, things are looking up heading into SummerSlam.
