- Tonight’s edition of RAW will air live from Fayetteville, North Carolina. The show will be the final episode before SummerSlam and the hope internally in WWE is to deliver a show that makes people want to buy SummerSlam on Sunday. There has been a lot of pressure within WWE lately about increasing pay-per-view buys and with SummerSlam being a big four show it is important that tonight’s show does well. The only thing announced for tonight’s RAW is the continuation of the Vince McMahon paternity angle.
- To follow up on RAW airing on Sci Fi next Monday, the move will only be for one week. The Labor Day edition of RAW (on 9/3) will air in its regular time slot on the USA Network as tennis will end at 9 PM. In addition to that, next Monday’s RAW will air on USA after tennis ends, but you will be able to watch the show live on Sci Fi.
