Smackdown:

-They opened with an edition of the MVP lounge to push the tag team main event.

-Kane pinned Mark Henry.

-In a really fun match, WWE Tag Team champions MVP & Hardy beat Finlay & Rey Mysterio,

-They do a backstage vignette where Jamie Noble tries to pick up Vicky Guerrero, so
she puts him in a match.

-Batista destroys Jamie Noble.

-Jesse and Festus defeated jobbers

-In a Three-Way, ECW's Big Daddy V defeated The Miz and John Morrison. Of all the
ECW guys, we get these three? How about Dreamer or Punk?

-JBL interviews the Undertaker and gets chokeslammed for his troubles. Batista comes
out and spears UT, who does the sit up deal to close Smackdown.

-The dark match was Batista and Mysterio vs. Khali and Finlay.

dark match: palumbo w/o mccool beat kenny w/ victoria.......quick match, pretty much a squash.

first up was a player's club or whatever mvp's interview set is called w/ rey/finley/matt and of course mvp out. finley/rey ended up getting into it and that was that......

kane/henry was a quick squash by kane via chokeslam. henry looked horrible and had a huge brace on his left leg.

hardy/mvp beat finley/rey when mvp pinned finley with his finisher, best match of the night.

Big Daddy V won three-way over Morrison and miz. it was bad.

the daltons beat two jobbers in under a mintue with a combination of four moves.

JBL interviewed Taker who choke slammed JBL at which point Batista came out, speared Taker and left. Taker eventually got up....long after Batista was gone.

That was it for smackdown.

ECW sidenotes:

Some new interview girl did a kiss cam, she's not hot and I have no idea why they hired her. She also lacked any charisma what so ever.

Tazz did a "sign of the night" segment. I held up my "Y2Who?, we need Doink" sign. That didn't get put up.

Biggest Pops:
1. Rey
2. Batista
3. Big Daddy V (yes Pops)

Loudest Boos:
1. JBL (people hated on him all night long)
2. Finley
3. Big Daddy V (yes Boos, too)

An ok night considering the roster depth and overall lack of star power.

The Merchandise stands had literally 30 feet between the tables and the wall of tshirts. How they expected people to see what was offered and better yet care what was offered w/ this kind of set up is beyond me. I don't see the point and noticed hardly anyone was buying Merch.
