- Corporate Event magazine awarded WWE a gold medal for Mobile Marketing for the 2006 Fan Axxess tour. The company was honored for excellence in live event marketing.
- WWE SmackDown is once again airing in Italy. Italia 1 cancelled the show following the Benoit Family Tragedy this summer saying that they felt like wrestling was bad for kids. SmackDown has seen resurgence in popularity amongst children stemming for the Italian wrestling boom of the past two years. WWE has worked out a deal with Sky Pay TV to broadcast SmackDown. The Sky service broadcasts all WWE pay-per-view live as well as all major WWE television shows.
- Lilian Garcia’s Spanish CD is performing very poorly. As we reported, the album bombed in the first week, only showing up in the number 38 spot in the Latin Pop spot on Latin charts. The sales are basically meaningless given the fact that most US stores such as FYE and Best Buy are not even carrying the album.
