Adam Pearce On Fans Suggesting That He Should “Slap Sonya Deville” On WWE TV

Lately, we have seen Sonya Deville overstepping her bounds on WWE RAW and she has even made decisions without consulting WWE official Adam Pearce, including lifting Charlotte's suspension and even adding her to the RAW Women's Title Match at WrestleMania Backlash.

A number of fans have took to social media and have told Adam Pearce to slap Sonya Deville due to her overstepping his authority on Monday Night RAW. In his response, Adam Pearce said that he appreciates the interaction, but he has zero interest in slapping Sonya Deville because that's not how he chooses to lead or govern. WWE official Adam Pearce also said people have suggested he looks like someone who is named Johnny something, but that is not him.

Pearce said, “Happy Tuesday to everybody. Thank you to everyone who has sent tweets and messages. I appreciate the interaction, but no, I have zero interest in slapping Sonya Deville. That’s not how I choose to lead or govern. Certainly someone in my position shouldn’t ever resort to violence. If you’re one of those people suggesting that I should be slapping Sonya or that she should be slapping me, stop.” “Also, I’ve got a number of these messages suggesting that facially I may look like this person. I forget his name… Johnny something… that’s not me. ”
