Former WWE writer Nic Collins recently announced on LinkedIn that he is currently working on a new animated series for AEW and Adult Swim. Details about the project are not yet available, but updates will be shared as they come. There has also been no information released regarding the premiere date or the individuals involved in the series.
This isn't the first collaboration between AEW and Adult Swim; they have partnered on several occasions in the past. Notably, they worked together for a “Battle of the Booty” event at San Diego Comic-Con 2024 and had a Rick & Morty-sponsored episode of Dynamite back in November 2019. Adult Swim is a part of Cartoon Network, which is owned by AEW’s broadcasting partner, Warner Bros. Discovery.
Nic Collins previously worked as a WWE writer from April to September 2025 on the creative team. He co-developed and served as the creative producer for The Undertaker’s Six Feet Under podcast and was also a writer on the animated series Thoron the Conqueror for Adult Swim, where he directed and voiced various roles.
