According to Fightful Select, both AEW and the WWE are interested in bringing in top UK talent Mariah May into their respective companies. Mariah May, who has been in the pro wrestling business for 4 and a half years, worked a WWE UK Performance Center tryout back in 2019 as WWE reached out to her almost immediately after she began her wrestling career. Since then, WWE officials have had their sights set on her, but AEW has also been doing everything they can in order to sign her.
There's no word yet on if May has had any contract talks with AEW or the WWE, but she is currently in Japan as she is finishing up her schedule with Stardom. Fightful Select also noted that Mariah May is finishing up her contract obligations in Japan, so that she can begin working for a promotion she has signed with and although no confirmation has been given that May has already signed with AEW, there's rumors and teases that her destination will be All Elite Wrestling.
