During last night’s episode of AEW Collision, titled "Winter Is Coming," AEW World Champion Kris Statlander announced in a backstage segment that she will defend her championship against Jamie Hayter at this month’s Worlds End pay-per-view.
This announcement follows a successful tag team match earlier in the night, where Statlander and Hayter teamed up to defeat the Sisters of Sin, consisting of Skye Blue and Julia Hart. Hayter has not held the championship since May 2023, when she lost it to "Timeless" Toni Storm at that year’s Double or Nothing event. After that match, Hayter was sidelined for over a year due to a serious injury. In contrast, Statlander secured the AEW Women’s World Title from Storm at All Out 2025 in a four-way match that also included Hayter and Thekla.
AEW Worlds End is scheduled to take place on Saturday, December 27th, at the NOW Arena in Chicago, Illinois. The event will be broadcast live on pay-per-view.
