All Elite Wrestling has added a huge Winners Take All Title Match to the card of their Forbidden Door PPV with NJPW. It was made official shortly after last night's Road Rager episode of AEW Rampage that AAA and ROH World Tag Team Champions Cash Wheeler and Dax Harwood of FTR will put their ROH World Tag Team Titles on the line against the IWGP Tag Team Champions The United Empire (Jeff Cobb and Great-O-Khan), who will also put their IWGP Tag Team Titles on the line and Trent Beretta and Rocky Romero of Roppongi Vice in a 3-Way Winners Take All Tag Team Title Matchup, with the winners walking out as the ROH World Tag Team Champions and the IWGP Tag Team Champions.
The match at Forbidden Door will be the first title defense for Jeff Cobb and Great O-Khan, who would defeat The Bullet Club’s Chase Owens and Bad Luck Fale at NJPW's Dominion on June 12th to begin their second reign as the IWGP Tag Team Champions, while this will be the third title defense for FTR (Cash Wheeler and Dax Harwood), who would defeat current IMPACT World Tag Team Champions The Briscoes (Mark and Jay Briscoe) at ROH's Supercard Of Honor XV Event on April 1 to become the new ROH World Tag Team Champions in their first reign.
AEW and NJPW's Forbidden Door Event is set to take place on Sunday, June 26th at the United Center in Chicago, Illinois.
