It’s Saturday and AEW Collision is live in Chicago IL as part of the residency at Byline Bank Aragon Ballroom. Our commentary team is Tony Schiavone and Nigel McGuinness.

Dustin Rhodes (TNT Champion) vs Lee Moriarty

Dustin holds out a hand and Lee kicks it away. They lock up and move to arm bars. Lee gets a quick rollup for two and Lee locks on the motor City Stretch and Dustin gets to the ropes. They run the ropes and Dustin gets a shoulder tackle, then an arm drag and then clotheslines Lee to the floor and follows. Lee goes for a PK off the apron and Dustin grabs his arm and whips him to the apron. Dustin then rams Lee into the apron. He keeps working over the same arm on the floor and rolls Lee into the ring.

Dustin goes back to work on the arm and then grabs an arm drag takeover to work over Lee on the mat. Lee is able to escape and lays in an uppercut followed by a dragon screw in the ropes. Lee goes to work on Dustin’s injured leg. Dustin goes to the floor to recover. When Dustin returns to the ring, Lee goes back to work on the leg, dancing as Dustin recovers on the mat.

Lee gets another dragon screw and then snaps Dustin’s fingers. Dustin is able to get up and get a couple of chops out of the corner, but Lee hits another dragon screw as we go to picture in picture.

When we return to full screen, Lee is still working over the leg with mat work. Dustin starts to fire up with chops, but Lee is able to take him down over and over. Lee misses a kick to the leg and Dustin starts throwing hands. Dustin gets a power slam and both men are down. Dustin fires a series of blows, and Lee finally knocks him down. He keeps working on Dustin’s leg, and Dustin is able to work to his feet and gets a destroyer followed by crossroads for two, and Lee grabs the rope for the break.

Dustin hits a slam for two. He tries for a second and Lee escapes and Lee gets a roundhouse kick for two. Lee grabs an ankle lock and Dustin crawls to the ropes for the break after Lee turns it into a body scissors for support. Lee charges at Dustin in the corner and Dustin gets out of the way and locks Lee into the corner. Lee gets a leaping kick for two. Dustin fires a series of blows and Lee gets a headlock slam for two.

Lee goes for a figure four and Dustin grabs him for a small package for the pin and the win.

Winner: Dustin Rhodes.

After the match, Kyle Fletcher and Don Callis come to the ring. Kyle says he is not here to take cheap shots, and he outclasses Dustin in every single way. He says the only thing he needs is what he is owed, a one on one shot at the TNT championship next week. Dustin says after Kyle talked crap about his family., he wants a shot? He asks the crowd if he should get a shot and the crowd says he should. So next week, it will be a Chicago street fight.

Juice Robinson says that this week, he will not be sticking his nose in Big Bill’s business, he will be sticking his foot up Big Bill’s ass, and he and Austin Gunn will beat them tonight in the tag team tournament.

Tony Schiavone has a tribute to Hulk Hogan and sends his love to Hogan's family.

Lexi Nair is backstage and Toni Storm shows up to talk about Athena and cuts a fantastic series of double entrees that make up a promo.

The Bang Bang Gang (Juice Robinson and Austin Gunn) vs Big Bill and Bryan Keith - Tag Team Tournament Match

Keith and Juice start off the match. They lock up and Juice grabs an arm bar. They run the ropes and Juice gets a shoulder tackle and a one count. Austin tags in and they hit Keith with a double hip toss for two. They run the ropes and Austin gets a sling blade. Bill is tagged in and takes his time to get into the ring. They lock up and Bill shoves him back. Austin takes his time to re-engage. Bill does it again. Austin gets a leg lariat and a series of jobs that Bill stops with a big boot. Bill knocks Juice to the floor.

Bill goes to work on Austin’s knee as we go to picture in picture.

When we return to full screen, Austin has been kept in the ring as the babyface in peril. As Austin gets to the corner, Bill knocks Juice off the apron. Austin dodges a big splash in the corner and when Bill charges, Austin gets a low bridge. Austin flips Keith out of the ring and crawls to his corner for maximum drama. Juice tags in and runs wild.

He ends the series with a cannonball in the corner on Keith and covers for two. Bill gets a big boot on Juice from the floor and Keith gets a snap suplex for two, broken up by Austin. Bill tags in and holds Juice and shoves him toward Keith’s kick for two, Austin breaking it up again. Keith tags in, but Juice shoves Bill into him in the corner. Juice gets a hurricanrana but Keith rolls through for two. Juice rolls back for the pin and the win.

Winners and moving on in the tag team tournament: Bang Bang Gang

Lexi is in the back with Shane Taylor to talk about Lee Moriarty’s loss. Don Callis shows up and lets him know that they will take out the Outrunners in tonight’s match later tonight, which is 300k for him and 100k for Taylor.

Max Caster is here for the 5-minute challenge where he insults Chicago, leads his chant and sees that Anthony Bowens and Billy Gunn have answered the challenge.

Max Caster vs Anthony Bowens w/Billy Gunn

Bowens beats down Caster in the corner. The crowd actually chants for Max. He goes back to beating down Max in the corner. He then beats down Max in the middle of the ring. Bowens destroys Max’s patent paperwork. Bowens hits a low blow, then a famouser. He follows with a super kick and hits the Mollywomp for the win at 2 minutes.

Winner: Anthony Bowens

Bowens goes back to work on Max and Bill shoves him off. Bowens looms behind Bill and then leaves the ring shouting at the crowd that he is the Pride of Pro Wrestling.

Lexi is with Kip Sabian, Nick Wayne and Mother Wayne. Mother Wayne says they are not to be called the patriarchy. AR Fox shows up and says Nick said he was done talking, so he challenged him and Kip to a fight.

We then get the Chord of Doom as Don Callis and his team come to the ring and he gives a huge intro for Hechicero.

Lance Archer, Hechicero, Carlie Bravo, and Shawn Dean w/Shane Taylor and Trish Adora vs Tomihiro Ishii, Turbo Floyd, Truth Magnum and Hologram - for $400,000

Don Callis joins commentary and through the match, the amount he will give Shane Taylor keeps dropping.

Ishii and Bravo fight to the corner and Ishii takes a series of chops and then runs through Bravo. Hologram tags in and they slam Bravo and Hologram gets a moonsault for two. Hechicero tags in and rolls up Hologram with a leg capture for two. Hologram gets a spinning arm drag and then leaps onto Hechicero’s shoulders. He then gets a spinning hurricanrana. Turbo tags in and the Outrunners double team Hechicero, and then drop-kicks for the Infantry.

Archer tags in and Turbo fights him into the corner, but then gets a leaping leg lariat in the corner which sets off the tag team siren and everyone is fighting in and around the ring. Archer tosses Hologram into the Outrunner as we go to picture in picture.

When we return to full screen, Hologram gets tagged in and takes a choke slam from Archer. Ishii is able to get a vertical suplex. This brings up each person to get a big move on the last person in the ring. Turbo gets the tag and cleans house. After Turbo gets a two count on Bravo, Ishii and Hechicero fight back and forth with Hologram getting a hurricanrana from the top top before diving into Hechicero on the floor.

The Outrunners get the double bicep drop on Dean, and the fight breaks down with everyone brawling in and around the ring. Roderick Strong and Kyle O’Reilly come from the back to run off Shane Taylor.

Dean and Bravo are in the ring with the Outrunners, but Bravo is knocked out of the ring, and the Outrunners get a two-man slam on Dean for the pin and the win.

Winners: Tomihiro Ishii, Turbo Floyd, Truth Magnum and Hologram

We then get a hype video for Hangman Adam Page’s World Title Win.

Triangle of Madness (Thekla, Julia Hart, and Skye Blue) vs The Already In The Ring Rachael Ellering, Mazzerati, and Laynie Luck

Julie walks the top rope, Blue gets a running attack, and then Thekla pulls up Luck at two to continue the beating. Ellering gets a little bit of offense and covers Hart for two before Mazzerati is tagged in to take the two woman slam followed by Thekla getting a clothesline for the pin and the win.

Winners: Triangle of Madness

Queen Aminata shows up and storms down to the ring with a chair and the Triangle bails. As they wave at her, Megan Bayne takes out Aminata from behind and then hits a running power bomb on her. As Bayne leaves, the Triangle stands over Aminata.

In the back, Lexi is with Stokely Hathaway and FTR. He says that Adam Copeland was a good guy, but hired goons to attack FTR and Adam Copeland attacked Stoke. He then mocks the Bang Bang Gang and says FTR will beat them next week.

Lexi says, “Aren’t you injured?” and Stoke glares at her.

Lexi is with Hologram and Ishii. Roddy and Kyle show up and say they should spend the money tonight for Roddy’s birthday. Hologram and Ishii don’t charge expression as that all goes on.

Nick Wayne and Kip Sabian w/Mother Wayne vs the Already in the Ring AR Fox and Angelico

Hey, look, it’s Angelico’s once a year appearance on TV!

Nick drops Fox with a big kick and then stomps a mudhole in him. He holds Fox in his corner and Kip tags in and beats Fox down. Nick tags in and keep up the attack, but Fox reverses a pickup into a spinning slam. Angelico tags in and gets a series of punches on Nick. Angelico gets an arm bar capture. He taunts Nick but when he releases, Nick gets a leaping uppercut and poses as we go to picture in picture.

When we return to full screen, Angelico has been the babyface in peril and crawls to his corner. Fax is tagged in and Fox goes wild. Fox gets a huge ovation from the crowds. Fox hits a swanton to end the sequence for two on Nick. Nick gets a double chop to the throat and tags in Kip. Angelico is tagged in. Kips gets a reversed cannonball and Nick gets a flip onto Fox on the floor. Kip gets a big clothesline and Nick calls for the tag.

Nick hits a killswitch on Angelico for the pin and the win.

Winners: Nick Wayen and Kip Sabian

Renee Paquette is with Kris Statlander and Kris says that Willow wants to move on and start fresh, but she didn’t thank Kris for all she has done for her over the last few weeks. Kris then thanks Willow for reminding her she doesn’t need anyone.

Athena (Ring of Honor Women’s Champion) w/Billie Starkz vs Alex Windsor

They lock up and go around the ring without breaking until they get to the middle of the ring. They trade quick takedowns and Athena gets a punch to Alex’s face to drop her. Alex gets a series of arm drags and then a drop-kick to Athena on the mat. Athena pulls Alex down by her hair. Alex tries for a hip toss, but Athena lands on her feet and Alex hits a clothesline from behind. Alex gets a scoop slam. Athena gets a head scissors and runs Alex into the turnbuckles.

They trade chops on the apron. Athena gets a slam on the apron as we go to picture in picture.

When we return to full screen, Alex hits a headbutt and both women go down. Athena runs at Alex in the corner and Alex is able to beat her down and then gets a leaping lariat in the middle of the bing. Alex gets a Russian leg sweep for two. Alex tries for a power bomb, but Athena bites her leg. Athena gets a modified Spanish Fly and then a Koji Clutch. Alex rolls over for a two count and Athena has to release the hold. Athena gets a backdrop driver for two.

Super fast-paced match.

Athena goes to the top and Alex gets a rising headbutt followed by a slam off the top for two. Alex is knocked to the floor and Athena joins her. Alex slams Athena into the apron twice and then onto the floor. Alex rolls Athena into the ring and Starkz grabs Alex’s lag which gets her run into the barricade. Athena dives onto Alex and then runs Alex into the ringpost. Athena gets a running drop-kick.

Athena pulls them up onto the barricade and they throw hands. Athena is knocked down and Athena gets a power bomb from the floor. Athena rolls Alex into the ring and goes to the top for the O-Face, the pin, and the win.

Winner: Athena

Starks tosses Alex to the floor which brings out Toni Storm. Storm gets a Thesz press on Athena and then hits a hip attack in the corner. She puts Athena into the TCM Chicken Wing, but Starkz nails Storm with the title contract. Alex hits the ring and all four women fight in the middle of the ring until Athena and Starkz bail.
