AEW Dynamite & NXT Viewership & Rating for Return to Wednesday Night Head-to-Head Battle

-- After weeks of not going head-to-head due to various preemptions, AEW Dynamite and NXT both returned to their regular Wednesday time slot and suffered a drop in viewership week-over-week. However, Dynamite easily won the battle in both total audience and in the 18-49 demographic, generating an average viewership of 886,000 and a 0.34 rating. NXT meanwhile was watched by 689,000 people with a 0.18 rating in that key demo. The viewership drops were 18% for NXT and 13% for Dynamite from last week's airing but compared to the last time these shows went head-to-head over a month ago, viewership was up about 10% for both.

-- There was no major sports competition with the NHL and NBA playoffs taking a night off so Dynamite soared to a top three ranking in the 18-49 ranking at #3 while NXT was trailing well behind at #31.
